Features

Construction
- The Whirly is a Stainless Steel construction turning on ball bearings with a turbine ventilator.
- With the base included it can adjusted to 45° pitch.
- The 21 aerofoil blades are shaped to prevent rain and dust from penetrating the unit.
- It is tested to withstand hurricane-force winds and temperatures up to 80°C.
- The Whirly is resistant to rust and corrosion and the bearings are lubricated with heat-resistant grease and permanently sealed.

Notice
- The CSIR has tested the the air-removing capacity and copies of their report are available.
- A standard-size Whirlybird is required for 50 m2, but factors such as excessives fumes and moisture, heat sources and solar heat gain must be taken in consideration.
